OSHA cracking down on unlabeled chemical bottles

All shops big and small are subject to meeting OSHA's (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration) stringent guidelines on work place safety. One of the areas they focus on in body shops and detail shops is product labels. All product labels must list the hazard warnings, first aid precaution and ingredients. So, in otherwords, the days of hand writing the product name in Sharpie Marker are over! To read complete OSHA standards, click here.

One of the best ways to stay in compliance is to order a secondary label when you order larger sizes of our Presta Products. For example, even if you empty Ultra Concentrated Glass Cleaner from your 5-gallon carboy into your trigger sprayer, OSHA still requires that the spray bottle also be properly labeled. That's why we offer secondary labels for all of our sprayable chemicals.

Presta offers Secondary Labels for all the
following chemicals including:

  • Spray and Shine #821262
  • Conquest #821255
  • Non-Acid Tire & Wheel #821256
  • VOC Radiant Dressing #821253
  • All-Weather Dressing #821254
  • Concentrated Glass Cleaner #821252
  • Nano RTU Glass Cleaner #821261
  • Leather & Vinyl Cleaner #821257

Simply ask your jobber store or manufacturers sales rep to add secondary labels to your order, or if you have trouble getting the labels you need, email prestainfo@malcopro.com
